The Matcheck System is a secure and computerised material handling system (CMHS) that provides automated product verification, weight validation, supplier invoice and waybill/delivery note reconciliation. The Matcheck system offers the following benefits to its clients:
- It provides a secure and accurate automated surveying process in which the client will experience significant improvement in the control of accepting deliveries and clearing of dispatched goods.
- The system guarantees that expenditure is directly proportional to the acquisition of inventory and focuses on cutting exorbitant shrinkage losses.
- How does is work?
- Predetermined weight values of goods are associated with product codes and selected from an appropriate group of goods. A programmable logic controller uses a set variant factor to determine the acceptable limits of the predetermined weight value of goods delivered to either “accept” or “reject” the goods.
- Matcheck will aid in producing a delivery record of goods delivered from a particular source or supplier which can ultimately be used as proof of delivery and can serve therefore as a basis for the payment for the goods delivered. The delivery note may also be used to identify details of goods rejected, thus making any shrinkage of goods that may have occurred prior to delivery the responsibility of the deliverer.
- Matcheck will produce records for an audit trail at the end of predetermined particular time periods over which deliveries have occurred.
- The conveyor size aids in protection and safety of goods being weighed.
- The cage-like enclosure may be dimensioned to provide for the passage of goods there through in a relatively snug mode which will not permit the presence of persons within the enclosure while goods are displaced through by the conveyor.
- Only one of the conveyor doors can be open at any particular time, thus ensuring isolation of goods once received on the conveyor belt. Deliveries from different suppliers can be loaded at the same time to speed up the weighing process. The computer monitoring the goods will be able to distinguish the goods supplied by different suppliers via the bar codes read by the scanner device.
- Access door provides communication between the conveyor and suitably situated isolation storage space where rejected goods can be stored.
- The device can be fully integrated and automated to receive and upload data from the client’s accounting system.
